Our mission is to provide you with personalized, geriatric care (e.g., high-quality memory care assessments and plans).
Memory Health MDs offers geriatric healthcare services (e.g., polypharmacy, fall prevention, dementia screening). We supplement the care you receive from your Primary Care Physician and provide this service at your home.

Dr. Ellis, originally from Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa, relocated to the United States for her residency in Internal Medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She then moved to Los Angeles to complete her Geriatric Fellowship at UCLA.
Post-fellowship, Dr. Ellis worked as a hospitalist in Eugene, Oregon, while also serving as a clinical assistant professor, teaching medical students at Oregon Health and Science University and Western University. Later, she moved to Texas, taking up roles as an internal medicine faculty member and hospitalist at Methodist Dallas Hospital. At this hospital, she played a key role in establishing a Cognitive Assessment clinic at the Golden Cross Clinic. This initiative, in collaboration with the American Geriatric Association, integrated geriatric and cognitive assessments into routine visits for elderly patients.
In the spring of 2020, Dr. Ellis and her family moved to the Conejo Valley. With her extensive experience in memory care from her time in Oregon, Texas, and California, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced due to the shortage of geriatricians, the lack of information, and insufficient resources for high-quality memory care planning for both patients and caregivers.
To address these challenges, Dr. Ellis founded MemoryHealthMDs, an initiative dedicated to creating comprehensive, high-quality memory care plans for elderly patients. This venture is a culmination of her work with patients, caregivers, support groups, and other healthcare providers in the field of memory care.
